| I want to set up a directory so I can use the backup feature. The info in WHM says it should be dir/nfs/coda but Im not sure about that dir/. Is it possible to use a dir in one of my accounts not in a root area? Nice forums, and thanks for your help!! ![]() |

| It is not a good idea to backup to the same drive. It can cause a lot of problems and defeats the whole purpose of a backup. If the drive fails, you still lose everything, including the backup you made. Usually, a separate backup drive or rsync to another server is the safer/better way to do it. Backup drives should not be web accessable either, as this is a security risk.
