Question Search Engines

On my website www.truckimprovement.com I have several "keyword" domain names parked there. My question is, if, say powerstrokeforum.com is parked at truckimprovement.com will the search engines eventually pick that up? So that if, in the future, someone types in "powerstroke forum" in the search engines, powerstrokeforum.com might show up and it will take them to truckimprovement.com?

I'm just wondering it parking is the best way to go, or if I should host powerstrokeforum.com and all the others seperatly and build up the content on them and have them take people to truckimprovement.com through links. Any suggestions?

If you go to my home page at www.truckimprovement.com, you will see some links to the parked domain names and they take you to pages with content on those domain name "keywords".

There are several ways to go about this.

Usually, the best way is to have relevant content on the other domain and link to your primary site. This is not always practical though, and often a better solution is to do what is called a 301 Permanent redirect.

This is better than parking as far as the major search engines go. It avoids any possibility of being considerd a se spammer.

What you do is create a separate hosting account for your secondary domain. Then you either use .htaccess or your control panel on this secondary domain to create a 301 Permanent redirect to your primary site.

Next, any other domains you have can now be parked on top of the secondary domain and they will automatically pick up the 301 redirect to your main site.

I hope this helps clarify this a bit...
